[Hornlist] Pumpenhorns for sale?

I went looking on the web curious to see which horn manufacturers currently make the classic Viennese style pumpenhorns. Strangely enough the furthest search yielded only Alexander (model 92) so far out of current manufacturers. Surely though there must be other places/people that make them. H

Hi William, There are good Vienna horns available but you have to look for them. I would not rule out a GOOD used horn just as I would not rule out a GOOD old 8D. IMHO, it must be very hard to make a good Vienna horn because I have played very few that I would plunk down the money for. I ha

Thanks for the information :) I've been very curious about them ever since my old teacher bought one ca. 1910. It was in fair condition though, but it still played well, and I loved the playability of it. How much did your YHR801 set you back? I'm basically looking into one as a study instrumen
