The reason you don't hear much about this concerto on
this list is these guys are not premiering it. Any
disdain for Carter's music is just poor taste, while
that Carter "taste" truly is acquired!!
Carter's music is hard to digest, even for my ears.
Xenakis is another composer with tough intervals to
hear for some players.
Screw these guys, they are party poopers, unless its
their party...we all know the type.
