If you get your instrument packed with its case into a big box with plastic chips, dont forget, that the valve sectiuon is much heavier in relation to the horns body. So the weight of the valve section can rip the inlet outlet tubes (just with a wall thickness of 0,35 to 0,45 mms !!!) bend

I flew from London to Tokyo on Aug 12th. Here's what happened. We were each allowed a clear plastic bag with our travel documents, glasses and prescription medicines as hand luggage. We had to remove belts and shoes for scanning (dirty feet for all!) and were patted down, but no cavity
