Dear Colleagues:

I am delighted to announce that I will be reading with orchestra the modern
premiere of a long forgotten concertante for horn and cello by the German
cellist and composer J. Peter Ritter (1763-1846). The free open reading is
with the 92nd Street "Y" Workshop Orchestra in New York City and will be on
Sunday, April 13th from 10:30am-1pm. Two other Sinfonie concertantes for
winds will also be read at the session. All three works will soon be
available in modern performing editions at my website: mjcerri.com

The reading session will be as follows:

J. Peter Ritter (1763-1846)............... Concertante in E for Horn, Cello
and Orchestra

(Marc Cerri, Horn; Georgiy Ginovker, Cello)

Justus Körnlein (?-1866)..........Concertante in G for 2 Oboes and Orchestra

(Joan Dawidziak, Oboe primo; Suzette Jacobs, Oboe secondo)

François Rene Gebauer (1773-1845)..........Simphonie concertante No. 5 for
Flute, Bassoon and Orchestra

(Diana Basso, Flute; Zachary Cummings, Bassoon)

The 92nd Street "Y" is located on Lexington Avenue and 92nd Street in
Manhattan. Hope to see you there.

Best,

Marc Cerri
