Are there any members of the Symphony Silicon Valley (I think I have it
right) on the hornlist?
I'm wondering because my uncle is realizing a lifelong dream to conduct a
symphony orchestra when he will conduct the Symphony Silicon Valley in
Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.
He was a physician by profession but was a very good musician and singer. He
has no pretensions about this being anything but a vanity concert but is
absolutely ecstatic about the opportunity. It will be on Mother's Day after
their "normal" concert.
And yes I did tell him about the difference between a bull and an orchestra.
