Hello Amy, there is a 13th & 14th Solo by Gallay, but I am missing the piano parts.
Solo no.13: plate number 19334 HL Solo in Fa, beginning with an Allegro moderato introduction of 20 measures, the solo for 28 mes., followed by 14 measures tutti, followed by 28 meas. Solo, 2 mes. Tutti, 7 meas. Solo (quasi cadenza), 17 meas. Tutti, then the 9/8 Larghetto almost entirely with the solo horn for 22 meas. Plus two rest meas. Before the tempo change back to 4/4 Allegro mod. With 18 meas. Introduction, then the solo for 26 meas. Plus two measures cadenza & fermata. Another 18 meas. Tutti leads to the next solo entrance "con grazia" for 55 meas. Just once interrupted by two tutti measures. Highest note is a-fl.2 & lowest f# below staff, typical for cor-mixte. This piece seems originally be for horn & orchestra, as the violin is indicated as grace notes. Solo no.14: plate number 19335 HL Printed at A.Chaimbaud et Cie. In Paris Solo in Fa begins with an "Adagio" in 4/4 with four mes. rest for the solo, which lasts for 17 measures incl. the cadenza. Another 8 mes. rest plus an introductory measure for the horn leads to the tempo change to an "Allegro moderato" in 4/4, starting with the horn up beat.. The first 26 solo measures contain two measures rest. The tutti interlude of 12 meas.leads to the 31 meas. Solo, followed by 7 meas. Rest for the horn. Then there comes another Adagio in 4/4 with solo up beat, the solo lasting for 22 meas. Followed by 7 meas. Rest & the same introductory horn measure as before the first Allegro moderato, which is repeated here for 25 measures. After a fermata on the g below staff the solo horn comes again for the finale with 40 measures containing just almost two measures rest for breathing. The lowest note is the low c one octave below stuff, while the highes note a-fl. Above stuff is just reached twice. So you see, Amy, that most people write things from assumptions & not from facts as I do. If you have time to decipher the plate mark HL for me, I might look how to locate the scores or piano parts. Best wishes for 2004 ! (There is, of course a 12th solo, to which I have access.) Constant Pierre in his collection of documents from the Conservatoire lists these solos as test pieces in various years....of course he also lists a 3rd and a 12th concerto, so I'm thinking neither a 13th or 14th solo exists. And that he either misread some information regarding a so-called 3rd and 12th concerto, and reproduced it, or it's a misprint.
