I was really hoping to send an up-beat, up-date regarding the Colorado, USA
wildfire situation and had just successfully posted a light-hearted diary
entry. Almost immediately after posting that, I heard horrible news.

Sorry to hear this news. For those who didn't click through to the BBC
article, 19 firefighters from a specially trained team were killed by a
fire in Arizona making it one of the most deadly firefighting accidents in
US history. This is definitely not the news we wanted to see from
One thing I would request is to have all resources -- including links to
any contextual information, useful guides, and liaison contact -- on the
task manager. Also, I am continually confused as to why areas are marked
as Done when they clearly wouldn't be considered done if you read the

of 'validated' which is supposed to weed out these erroneous tiles and
revert them back to 'unmarked' if they do not meet the standards. We
should try to work on ways of encouraging more validation work as for many
