Would there be more tasks to work on for Typhoon Haiyan by 23rd Nov on

Hi Kate,
Kathmandu Living Labs has been mapping since yesterday. We are about 15
people and we are primarily working on tasks 350 351. We will continue this
effort tomorrow and throughout the weekend as well. Could you please
mention Kathmandu as one of the places hosting the mapathons?
On Wed,
I've organised another mapathon event in London TONIGHT! If you're in this
part of the world, details and sign-up on eventbrite: http://bit.ly/1bqmZqs
I've also listed events here:

Obviously that could do with having some more
There was also a request to map parts of Vietnam also along the path
of Haiyan. Any updates on this request?

Yes, I wanted part of the community to also assess damage info in Vietnam. Though I did not receive any update from the team there so far and media/government is not mentioning information on damages there. Last info I got was two days ago that Hanoi was not as badly hit as expected, but

Be aware that many blocks have been marked as complete, but are not
complete. In some cases, there is still a lot left unfinished. Clearly
some contributors are not following simple instructions, i.e. mark ALL
buildings!

Has anyone been tracking particular software dev needs coming out of the

I may try to join the crisiscamp DC on Saturday, and wonder what else we can
have folks do besides the mapping.

Yes. That. I'd like to be able to give folks tasks on Saturday (I'm
coordinating CrisisCamp in DC).

Simple easy to use disconnected web map that supports MBTiles, geojson, and
csv. In reality I would love to revive the long lost OSM on a stick
conversation.

Looking back at this year, there were many humanitarian actions we participated
at. We almost forgot moving from one to the other. But there are still hundred

still need our help to plan the distribution of foods to
A simple fix for the folks using iD would be nice:
- An auto-applied .gpx bounding box for given task.
At the moment this only works for JOSM and Potlatch, in .osm format:

great to see stats on which editors saw the most traffic
An alternative to using filters in JOSM is to use this mapcss
styling (attached with this mail) to highlight buildings with required tags
for job 350.
