Umap is accesssing the same basemaps that we see on openstreetmap.org and like OpenStreetMap will refresh the map as the data is edited. If the map was already opened in your browser, you can update the page ignoring data already in the cache by pressing keys ctrl-F5 with Firefox and Google Chr
