hi sam
all of the hydropower plants in nepal are dependent on glacial rivers. is
it possible to identify lake formation and bursting in the areas upstream
of these powerplants? losing power source would be terrible.

Hi all,
I really liked the arbitrary geometry to define tasks. This will be much
useful. I see that the new interface is not available in the dev instance.

I actively use the dev-instance.
It is important to test out the area because i normally create task using

small part of required area. The relation has to be adjusted so that such
tasks are removed, this is important
the tasking manger development instance http://tasks-dev.hotosm.org/ is not

Hi Laurent
An easy (crude) way to do a high quality printout is to generate a very
high resolution raster image just by stitching tiles.
I don't know if it's helpful for

features on image. The new imagery have greenish haze making it more
difficult to identify features even to expert mappers. Can this issue be
addressed as well?
The Bing Imagery has been updated recently, just a few days ago we believe.

Could you guide us on setting up a new task in HOT tasking manager. We are
planning a mapathon on occasion of OPENDATA day (23rd feb) where we will
digitize building footprints in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. and we need to
assign areas so that the building are not duplicated.

You didn't say of where you were trying to make a shapefile.
The export tool is not available for all places in the world.
