Sun ClusterTools includes OpenMPI, and it is for Solaris (but it also
supports Linux)... so it shouldn't be hard to compile OpenMPI on
Solaris!
According to this blog entry, ClusterTools 8.0 packages Open MPI 1.3:

I know about the ClusterTools product however I need a package in SFW
workspace. ClusterTools is only available as a separate product for
nevada, it is not part of nevada therefore it is not part of the build
environment. So I need to integrate some form of mpi into the workspace.
