Good day, I am having a problem with hplip-1.6.9
downloaded fine,put in a directory,
went to directory and typed hplip-1.6.9.run
AND I GET PERMISSION DENIED
TRIED WITH SUSE,FEDORA, UBUNTU,
ALL THE SAME PROBLEM
HELP, WHAT AM I DOING WRONG

You need to change the file permissions so that the file is executable..
Run: chmod u+x hplip-1.6.10.0.run
Then
./hplip-1.6.10.0.run
The install instructions have been updated, however not uploaded as of yet.
