*Job Description:*

ETL and Data Warehouse developer will be a core global team member to
provide SQL Server development and administration expertise, data modeling,
SSIS, and BI development to support/enhance the existing data integration
and reporting architecture frameworks/functionalities. Candidate will
assist for reviewing and clarifying business requirement documents as well
as database/ETL related development.  The individual needs to have broad
development experience in developing database backend for data integration
and reporting. The department currently encompasses the use of SQL Server
and Oracle. The candidate will also assist to evaluate and test emerging
business intelligence reporting tools to enhance reporting functionalities
for future needs.



*Main Duties*

The main responsibility of the candidate will be to develop, maintain, and
enhance data integration, database and reporting functionalities. The
candidate should be innovative and forward looking and is able to take
challenges in a fast environment. The requirements for database/ETL
development are growing rapidly so the candidate must be able to think
quickly but always be looking for new ways to improve the existing
technology and framework under tight deadlines.

•             Experience in all aspects of database design and development,
stored procedure development, SSIS development, Reporting Services
development and business intelligence development

•             Review/clarify business requirements with team members and
business analysts

•             Development and maintenance in SSIS server and process

•             Support and troubleshooting issues in database, ETL and query
performance

•             Coordinate database related activities such as scheduled
maintenance, upgrade, performance tuning and trouble shooting

•             Assist with team members to understand functionalities and
coordinate with global testing team for QA/UAT process

•             Identify bottlenecks on existing database/ETL process and be
able to enhance it to the next level using best practice

•             Willing to learn new technologies and adapt new changes

•             Occasionally assist development other than regular duties



*Person Requirements Basic Qualifications-*

•             Solid understanding of data warehouse modern design
methodologies

•             Solid understanding of best practices for SQL Server, the SQL
Server Storage Engine and RDBMS

•             Experience in SQL (MS SQL Server 2005/2008) technology is a
must.

•             Experience in very large database, data warehouse and
high-volume ETL process

•             Degree in engineering, computing or other numerate discipline

•             7+ years of development experience in IT

·         5+ years of ETL and data warehouse development using SQL Server
2005/2008 database

·         5+ years of T-SQL/procedure/view/function/trigger development and
performance tuning

·         5+ years of SSIS development and management

·         1 + years of Oracle PL/SQL development

·         1+ years of data modeling

·         1+ years of VB script

·         1+ years of SSRS or other reporting tool experience

*Preferred Qualifications-*

•             Previous experience in SQL Server administration and
management is a big plus

•             Understand OLAP and data warehouse is a big plus

•             Experience with SQL Server Business Intelligence(SSAS) and
.Net development is a plus

•             Experience with Information 8.X for ETL development is a plus

•             Knowledge of all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
(SDLC)

•             Knowledge of Identity Management and App Security is a plus

•             Ability to develop strong client relationships

•             Excellent written and verbal communication skills
