*JOB DESCRIPTION: *
We are looking for a Sr. QA & Test Analyst with extensive experience testing
database driven applications for a fantastic long-term contract opportunity
in Columbus, Ohio. The primary task will be to validate the data or content
layer of the architecture. In this role, the contractor will develop,
maintain, and execute test cases and test scripts for assigned initiatives.
He or she must identify report, escalate, monitor, and mitigate project and
product risks, produce status reports and appropriate associated metrics,
and will be asked to mentor less experienced team members.
*REQUIREMENTS:*
- Extensive knowledge of testing *data warehouses, data marts, or large
complex database content driven systems.*
- Knowledge of quality assurance and testing best and emerging practices.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Knowledge of HP/Mercury automated test tools (Quality Center).
*NICE TO HAVE:*
- Programming experience (no specific language).
- Experience creating Quick Test Pro (QTP) test scripts.
- Knowledge of patents and intellectual property information.
- Testing certification from one or more of the following certifying
organizations:
- Quality Assurance Institute (QAI)
- American Society for Quality (ASQ)
- International Institute for Software Testing (IIST)
