Experience in the financial industry mandatory.* *Main Function* *The Client Lifecycle IT Client Lifecycle Data Architect will be responsible for developing a solution in order to streamline the client on-boarding, maintenance and off-boarding processes within the Firm and allow Barclays to become the Go-To bank for client management. The role will be responsible for reviewing requirements, architecting a solution that may involve existing applications, creating detailed technical specifications and working with developers to implement the solution. They will primarily face-off with the other senior technology managers within Client Lifecycle IT but will also interface with business and operations partners. In addition to developing technical solutions, they will also participate in Customer Relationship Meetings with senior management from all key stakeholders of the Client Lifecycle program. The Lead Development Manager will report into the Global Head of Client Lifecycle IT.* *Responsibilities* * Conduct analysis of systems, services, and data models to accurately represent business/technical processes. Analyze and understand business requirements and functional specifications. Research new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology. Demonstrate comprehension of complex business rules that affect data across the systems topology and the business. Develop diagrams and artefacts for governance and software implementation purpose. Perform highly complex detail design activities which may require extensive research and analysis. Participate and assist with the testing and production lifecycle for functionality and scalability limits/constraints. Lead and/or participate in solution detailed design reviews and code reviews. Partner with internal organizations to understand the strategic direction of the business and how the functional area supports that direction. Liaise with the Enterprise Architecture organization to ensure corporate standards and policies adhere to the recommended guidelines.
