Today we have multiple product lines (Transport/HR/Workplace Safety) that we support… all using web application technologies at a minimum. · Our dev team currently consists of ~40 Devs/QA that work within a four Scrum Team structure. We are close to the point of adding a 5th Scrum team. Again, these teams all work from the same, single product backlog so there is no specialization related to product line or technology between teams. · The large majority of the work my team engages in is in the Transport line (around 80%). With that said, we do not expect people to come in with Transport experience and we have found that those that do have that industry experience have more of an operational bend to their experience than compliance… so we don’t look for industry experience. · Our newest large initiative revolves around adding multiple product offerings to our proprietary JJKeller Compliance Tablet. This involves native Android mobile development (Java/Eclipse IDE). This involves many ‘apps’ that will integrate with our current KellerMobile application including Navigation. · We are also advancing our current mobile platforms so native iOS work will certainly be in play. · We have multiple WebAPI’s that we maintain for communications with our mobile apps as well as 3rd parties and I expect we will be expanding this area quite a bit over the next year. · We are moving portions of Keller Encompass to the Cloud. We are taking a provider agnostic approach right now, so we have both Azure and AWS production instances in place and are testing both now.
