Very Large/Global stable company is seeking a Senior Java Developer to contrubute to a NEW BUILD of a large enterprise application, and support the existing application. Will perform analysis and development of Java / J2EE / JEE solutions. Will participate in all phases of product development including assessment of current software limitations, design, prototyping, coding and testing. Maintain existing code and work on new functionality depending on requirements. Follow the company software development processes and standards. Must have strong skills in building the interface, the back-end, and the database. The Senior Java Developer will work on large customer oriented development roadmap project. Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining simple and complex web based solutions using OO Design and Programming, JEE 1.6, Java, JSP, serverside frameworks, Web Services, WebLogic (WebLogic 10), Scripting, Version Control (Subversion), XML, PL/SQL coding, SQL and RDBMS such as Oracle and MS SQL Server. Must have knowledge in a number of web development technologies, including web servers Tomcat and/or Apache, Eclipse and/or Java Beans. Will assist in defining development framework to be used for current and future web development. - MUST have solid Java/J2EE programming experience (demonstrated experience writing Java code in a commercial application environment preferred), J2EE 1.6 preferred. - MUST have a minimum of 5 years experience with Enterprise Applications Web Development. - MUST have experience with Oracle database and writing Oracle PL/SQL code, Unix, and Scripting (Perl or Bsh). - MUST have strong skills in XML, XSL, JavaScript, and JSP. - MUST have Middle-Tier development experience with WebLogic. - Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
