[htdig] installing as a user..... possible?

[htdig] running htdig with -a switch

Hi all Just a quick question. When running htdig with the -a switch do I have to also run htmerge -a? I ran htdig -a earlier today but didn't use -a when running htmerge, and the database didn't seem to get updated. Would that be why? Thanks Clint Gilders

[htdig] trying to figure out -a and merging

docs.index, db.wordlist, and db.words.db are the same size it was when I started and I now have these other files with the .work ext.. How do I combine the new data in the work files with the original files? Or.. maybe I'm going at this all wrong. Somebody set me straight please. Thanks Cli

. Is there a way to stop the alt tags from being indexed? The banner script is called like so: !--#include virtual="/cgi-bin/ads/ads.pl?rtn=available01" -- and in the search results you get things like: Click here for Diamond Reptile Breeders.. Any input would be greatly appreciat
