but their site is virtual hosted and I wouldn't have root access to
install it.
Is it possible to install htdig as a user? The server is running BSDI
3.1 and Apache Stronghold. Any catches (I've only installed on FreeBSD,
and Linux)?
Thanks

We have indexed well over 200,000 documents with htdig running on a
single Free BSD machine without as much as hiccup.
Almost makes me wish for NT.
Be careful what you wish for! You just might get it. Ahh!!! The
horror.

Hi all
Just a quick question. When running htdig with the -a switch do I
have to also run htmerge -a? I ran htdig -a earlier today but didn't
use -a when running htmerge, and the database didn't seem to get
updated. Would that be why?
Thanks

files?
Or.. maybe I'm going at this all wrong. Somebody set me straight

Is there a way to call a different database from the search form?
Any other workarounds?
As always and help is greatly appreciated.

Is there a way to stop the alt tags from being indexed?
The banner script is called like so:
!--#include virtual="/cgi-bin/ads/ads.pl?rtn=available01" --
and in the search results you get things like:
Click here for Diamond Reptile Breeders..
Any input would be greatly appreciat
