Yes, I replaced the `throw(PreconditionViolation)` with
`noexcept(false)` in both vigra locations and now enblend builds.

I think that loading an equirectangular and extracting a single manually

looks to be counterproductive in this case, try stitching again but add the
enblend --no-optimize parameter.

The black areas are a long standing and intractable enblend bug. An
alternative is to use the 'verdandi internal Hugin blender', which is a
hugin option. This stitcher has a different feature-set, but may suit
you better.

I'm getting a segfault from nona with PNG and TIFF output, JPEG is fine.
This is a simple single image project with JPEG input:

.pts files are ptgui projects and .ptp files are for ptassembler.

I get a pop-up error saying "unsupported Panorama Format" whenever I try
to drag a panorama when the projection is set to "Orthographic" or
"Thoby Projection". Other projections are ok.
The error is non-fatal, the drag succeeds and Hugin continues after
dismissing the dialog
I think the request was for a PNG_m and JPG_m 'multiple output'
equivalent of TIFF_m. The existing PNG and JPG options create a single
merged file.
I don't see this as a priority feature, though I can understand why
somebody might want it.

Loading the lens using lensfun adds plausible lens distortion

enblend tries to drive the seam through the middle of the overlap and as
far away from the edges of the photos as possible.

match overlapping photos, but somebody needs to write the code to expose
it as a separate option.

entire .pto project as input, you can use this to indicate which photos
overlap by setting your estimated yaw and pitch angles for each.
cpfind can already detect overlaps like this and only match between
known overlapping photos,

Actually, there is exactly the function you want. In the Control Points
tab, pick your two photos and press the 'g' key, this will create points
between the two photos using the current transform as a guide.

During the build process, a system installed flann is detected fine, but
the include lines for cpfind have these entries in this order:
-I/path/to/builddir/src/foreign ... -I/usr/include
The result is that although cpfind dynamically links to the system flann
library, cpfin
