Launching calibrate_lens_gui and clicking on either the file list or the
photo canvas area crashes with a segfault. Other widgets are ok, and
everything is fine once one or more photos are loaded.
Seen with fedora 16 'gui_overhaul' branch and Ubuntu 12.04, reported by
Alexandre Prokoudine.
