Public bug reported:
As mentioned in bug report 806153 the following isn't fixed yet in
2011.4 beta 1.
It is point 2.
Because it is flagged fixed I make a new bug report for it.
Under the Stitcher tab the function calculate optimal size doesn't work
with the following projections:
Fisheye
I've filed a new bug report for it, because it is flagged: fixed.
Further filed the bug report for the weird behavior of autocrop with certain
projections.
Kind regards.

But under the stitcher tab the calculate optimal size is still greyed out for

Kind regards

Tested the 2nd version you uploaded to sourceforge and this version works
allright.
Stitches without a problem.
I only wonder why in the about screen the number of 2011.2 RC4 is the same as
RC4-2. nl.: da2f450aef66
Depends that on the sourcecode version or is that number created by compiling.
So
The issue is not resolved, unfortunately.
When I installed Hugin 2011.2.0-rc4 and start a stitch I get a windows error
message: vcomp100.dll is missing, so enblend and enfuse will not start.
Downloaded Vcomp100.dll and installed it in the binarie folder of Hugin.
Then during the stitch Windows
A bit late, but I was busy outside home.
In 2010.2.0 final the autocrop in the fast preview works with all projections.
But I did some more investigation on the greyed out FOV and Optimum size
buttons in the stitcher tab.
In version 0.6.1 they never greyed out with the projections available in

With Windows and Linux under the stitcher tab the calculate FOV and calculate
optimal size are greyed out and can't be used with the projections mentioned in
the first message. It seems to be an issue of
I'm running on windows XP sp3 32 bits. Unfortunately I can't build Hugin. After
a lot of tries had given it up.
But I tested it. On my system Hugin crashes only when using the assistant
opening the preview.
When using generate controlpoints, optimising the FPW gives no crash and I can
use it

The beta 1 version of doesn't have this problem. It is consistent, so version

Hugin 2011.2.0 RC2
The problem still exists in RC2 from Matthew Petroff.
Found workaround for the optimal size under the stitcher tab.
Make an equirectangular preview go to the stitcher tab and calculate optimal
size.
Back to the preview and choose the projection which optimal size can't be
changed under the
I am on Windows XP and tested it. I have something like that.
When setting the equirectangular projection to 360 degrees and change to
architectural the picture disappears. Not Hugin.
When press fit under the projection tab of the fast preview it comes back with
