Thanks for checking the dependencies.
I think you misunderstood - with your fix requiring 1.41.0, I cannor try
to rebuild, because my Fedora F10 does not provide this version. I had
offered to re-run my build attempt to point out the thread issues, but I
believe you figured that out nicely. :)

Public bug reported:
Both the documentation and the CMakeLists.txt state that Boost is
required with a minimum version of 1.34. I have tried to compile on
Fedora 10, which provides 1.34.1, but failed in two aspects:
- The Boost component "system" does not seem to exist before 1.35, judging from
