@Thomas: I agree the cause of the warning should be fixed upstream. I am not sure if the bug is in their tracker at https://redmine.darktable.org/projects/darktable/issues?page=2_id=1 and I am also not yet registered there. @Stefan: I downsized the images on request by Thomas in comment #1.

I can't reproduce the issue (Windows, Fedora and Ubuntu tested). When loading the files in Hugin no warning pop up. The cli tools issue the warning on cout/cerr, but no popup. So without more information why the popup comes only on your side I can't debug it further. PS: The cause of the
