The function would be very special or would need a lot of configuration
options to adapt to different use cases.

Currently you can also select several images and modify the position of all 
selected images at once.
And then there is the expression parser where you can modify the image 
positions (manipulate image variables in context menu or pto_var). 
I extended the parser to allow access to other image variables. So this should 
be easily possible to modify image positions.

Bug description:
  Not a bug report per se but a small feature request. The possibility
  to copy and paste image position from image to another would be nice
  feature to have in Hugin. Now transferring image position from image
  to image is a steb-by-step process involving lots of repetition
  repetition.
