Indeed, after switching off the gpu acceleration I get the expected
(=preview) output again. Thanks a lot!

I don't know if I described my problem properly; those 'white images' I
mentioned were output images due to the nona-gpu-incompatebility. I
didn't observe any translation problems in the quickpreview.
