I'm learning the command line version of Enfuse (4.2).
I've read the manual, skipping only the equations and graphs which are
beyond my expertise level.
The bracketed images I'm working with are 16-bit TIFs. Although I shot 7
images in 1EV steps I'm experimenting with using only three: +2EV 0E

Have a look at pano_modify if you want to set the output format...amongst
other things.

Using *gcc*, I wasn't able to compile ANYTHING using a system framework .
The frameworks use
code which isn't completely supported by gcc,* you'll have to use clang.*

Which wxwidgets version, and which port? Carbon or cocoa?
It should be wxWidgets 3.0 or later and the Cocoa port for MacOS.

This does not look like 2016.0 or 2016.1 under Linux which are the two
versions I have access to. Your screen shot displays the enblend/enfuse
selection

I have the same message on startup.
Today, with the same boot stick, I installed 16.04 on another PC (not mine)
and here Hugin works!
So the problem is in my laptop...
