Has there been plans to use threads in GUI? Stitcher has this already
and system runs at full speed.
As example image loading and scaling could be faster with more threads
with multi core system. I think that this is easiest point to start.
Reading the results of optimization takes time and
It' not soo easy. There are more places, e.g. the preview windows, the
image panel, and so on.
The image loading and scaling is done with an image cache. So if you
want to use severals thread for this task you have to check if the
image cache is thread safe and implement the image cache as
;Import Project.../label

There are some translations and work is going to be continued. If
there are any problems I'd like to know. I used Lokalize for po-file
writing.
From my view point everything compiled OK and texts
