This has been bugging me in all versions of Hugin I used over the last two years. When working on several projects at the same time, I often save the project after optimization but before stitching. Most control point distances will be below 0.1 pixel, except those from the nadir, which can be as far apart 10-20 px (not a problem in my workflow). Later, when I re-open the pto file I find that all the images are still in exactly the same place where I left them, but that the (initial) control point distances are suddenly much larger by what I estimate a factor of 10(?). Repeating the optimization step does not change anything, so we are still in the optimum. It looks to me like some scale factor that is used for measuring the distances in the image is not always initialized correctly.
It is not a big deal because the final results a still excellent; it is just that I like to see a green bar once in a while... -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "hugin and other free panoramic software" group.
