Hi all A user has reported a crash with enblend. See the forum for details: http://www.flickr.com/groups/hugin/discuss/72157615431955909/72157617662673763/
System: Vista Enblend: 3.2 Hugin: SVN 3811 Processor: Intel i7 based Vista 64bit machine with 12G of memory Enblend crashes while processing a large file (408MB) with: Using 9 blending levels Generating Gaussian pyramid: g0 g1 g2 g3 g4 g5 g6 g7 g8 Generating Gaussian pyramid: g0 g1 g2 g3 g4 g5 g6 g7 g8 Generating Laplacian pyramid: l0 l1 l2 l3 l4 l5 l6 l7 l8 Generating Gaussian pyramid: g0 g1 enblend: out of memory bad allocation The user has tried different settings of -m and -b, to no success. Reducing the size of the output panorama does solve the issue. A similar error seems to have been reported a few days ago: http://groups.google.com/group/hugin-ptx/browse_thread/thread/b63b4b3f99b991f5/7bcdb303b1f3470d but the error is not exactly the same. No solution on the same error a few months ago (on a machine with less memory): http://groups.google.com/group/hugin-ptx/browse_thread/thread/b3f12a8bc2f8e514/48bc513c81792194 It seems to be rather elusive: http://www.panotools.org/mailarchive/msg/33999 My expectation was that enblend should swap to disk, and would therefore not run out of memory.
