Yes, it is different on Mac. On Mac OS X all applications function in the
system language.
For that reason the language can't be changed inside Hugin, nor in any OS X
application that follows the design rules, as it complies to the system
language.
The system language on my mac is Dutch (and for
Hi Carl,
I do see the problem here as well.
I will dig into the problem, but from what I see, the primary language is
reported well by the DEBUG_TRACE on lines 262-264 of huginApp.cpp
Can someone give me a lead on what to look for ?
Thanks,
Matthieu

Hi Matthieu,
sorry that it took me so long to stumble over an issue with the release for
OS X... In the last weeks I had used both the 3013.0.0-rc as well as the
old 2012.0 version.
The current default download for OS X will (at least on my Mac) always
start using the english version while
I just looked into Hugin.app/Contents/Resources/de.lproj/locale/hugin.mo
and it seems to include all necessary (German) strings.
Strange. Anything else I could check?
The earlier 2013.0.0-rc1 built by Matthieu DESILE works ok for me.

hej Thomas,
mange tak for oversættelsen.
Det er lang tid siden jeg talte dansk.
I fully agree with your improvements for the english release note. I did
read it a couple of times but at a certain moment you get blind for the
details.
I uploaded it to the website. Sorry for the slight delay.

For those who want to translate the release notes in their native language I
append the en.shtml to this mail. Just save it in your ISO-2 language code
like de.shtml, fr.shtml (for example). A lot can be copypasted from the

Hi,
I want to thank all those who contributed to this 2013.0.0 release.
A special thanks to the builders of the binaries and to builders of the
packages for the several linux and BSD distributions.
I just updated the hugin.sourceforge website to reflect the state of the
new Hugin release.

Hello,
Sorry for the last post, but MacOSX binaries are now available here :
http://sourceforge.net/projects/hugin/files/hugin/hugin-2013.0/Hugin-2013.0.0.dmg/download
They have been tested to run on MacOSX 10.6, 10.8 and 10.9; they are
64bit-only binaries.
Python scripting is available.
Windows binaries for Hugin 2013.0.0 are now available. For the Python
enabled builds, one needs a preexisting Python 3.2 installation.
32-bit Installer:
