Would you be willing to provide some error log regarding the AppImage? That
would greatly help me to improve the compatibility...

Thanks, but I've never been able to successfully run a Flatpack or
AppImage or any other such app container on my systems. I prefer the
native packages - DEB for me, RPM in a pinch.
