[Just to share, Praful Bidwai and myself deposed before the Standing Committee on behalf of the Coalition for Nuclear Disarmament and Peace (CNDP) on Thursday last (June 24th). This was a sequel to the CNDP letter to the Standing Committee dated June 18. Understandably, this was the last day of sessions earmarked for "experts". The Secretary to the DAE had also deposed (before my arrival) and was taking part in deliberations. There were also other important figures.I was (very much) late. It appears that the session was waiting to be closed with CNDP deposition, on my arrival. There were interesting exchanges. We'd make a supplementary (written) submission, as we made some additional points and certain points got further clarified.Hopefully, on Monday it'd be mailed from the CNDP office. And circulated by Tuesday.The depositions (and exchanges) would go on record as a part of the proceedings. Sukla]
