Sukul Prasad Nag a vetren tribal leader of Dantewada Chhattisgarh got bail yesterday. The bail is granted by Dantewada sessions Court. He was in Jail since 22 November 2010. He was arrested just three days prior to a tribal rally organized by Adivasi Mahasabha of which he was a leader. Then SSP Dantewada SRP Kalluri arrested him and later brutally attacked tribal villagers who were coming to participate in the rally.Like many others, Sukul Prasad Nag was also falsely implicated in case of a"attacking Congress leader Awdhesh Gautam's house' five months prior to Sukul Prasad Nag's arrest. His release on bail will hopefully pave the way for other political activists release.
