Not necessary, fglrx (fglrx-installer source package) is the package that should accomplish that task. The mantainer has been informed and he have contacted AMD for documentation (It's a closed package), as far as I know, so I expect this bug to be corrected in forthcoming revisions. On 13/04/

Hi Alessandro, You don't need the script to change from Intel->ATI and ATi->Intel. Once the fglrx driver is installed and the links are properly configured, the switch should be done by the Ati Catalyst control panel in the desktop, or by sudo aticonfig --px-igpu or sudo aticonfig --px-dgpu in
