Hi to all, I have some good news about vga_switcheroo and 1215n.
I try to make a summary of my test.
I use the 2.6.38 kernel from kernel.org.
I boot linux in runlevel 3 and by default my kernel loades module i915 for
intel integrated graphic card.
Then when I load the module nouveau via modprobe
Wondeful, i didin't know. Having out of the box support for switchable
graphics is great.
Is there any page or bug report to check/get notified when the fix lands?

run at full speed, I don't know why.

Not necessary, fglrx (fglrx-installer source package) is the package
that should accomplish that task.
The mantainer has been informed and he have contacted AMD for
documentation (It's a closed package), as far as I know,
so I expect this bug to be corrected in forthcoming revisions.

What about making a deb package for natty that depends on fglrx and
does the needed setup on install?
Also it could revert things back to their original state on removal.
