- supertuxkart (native)
- starcraft 2 (with wine)
If I remember well (I'm on debian right now so can' t do the test), I
succeed to start supertuxkart
I am on Kubuntu 11.40 32-bit pae kernel with all updates. God knows what
X, Mesa etc that is... and I installed Catalyst 11.5 via sudo
./nstall.sh and then sudo ati-config --initial. Did not go via generated
packages in other words.

Thank you, now I can't even get windowed 3D to work, using 11.5
drivers from generated packages.

Have now tried Alien Arena and X crash in full screen mode whether I am
on ATI or Intel graphics... only rather more spectacular in ATI as the
game does not "die" but the process starts chewing up CPU - I killed it
when it was up on 75% CPU...
So the drivers are far from perfect - have not tri
Ok, i've tried with extreme tux racer and I can confirm this happening
when using discrete card.

I have this kind of problem...
Each time I opened a 3D application in fullscreen, X crashs.
I think it has something to deal with natty as 11.4 works on debian
stable (I didn't try 11.5).

I'm experiencing these issues with both AMD Catalyst 11.4 and 11.5 and
I wanted to know if someone else is seeing this:
- When using the Intel card, sometimes the X server randomly crashes
- When using AMD card trying to switch to a virtual terminal
(ctrl+alt+F[1-6]) causes X server to restar
