If moving the mouse to a corner of the screen does not bring up the

This is a hint that you've probably already got covered, but just in
the off chance that it helps...
I've come across a case where having the SoaS USB stick inserted into
the computer before and while changing the boot order in the
computer's BIOS seemed to affect how the stick is later recognized

Hi Folks...
Here is a progress report on my attempt to get SoaS ready to demonstrate at
InfoTech this coming Saturday. I was hoping to have it ready to "Disseminate"
as well, but that part hasn't come together yet. So, for now it is
"Demonstrate, yes. Disseminate, no." But that could chan
You are right, the Inca Road thing could be *powerful*. Just imagine
those Peruvian kids and teachers actually having something practical to
do with their XOs!
Hmmm. I've been trying to find again contact information for Cheryl

HI Friends,
I am now struggling with several new SoaS issues. Let's solve them one at a

If you have an eeePC900 can you tell me how to get it to boot first from a USB
stick?
It keeps going directly to Windows. I have managed to enter the BIOS utility
and on the Boot page ch
Hi All,
I Googled "Inca Road Map" and found several maps online. I was surprised to
see that it went to many places I have been to, including a small part of the
"inca Trail" above Machu Picchu including the famous "Sun Gate". The
wildflowers and blue morpho butterflies there were spectacular

I do not known how open Google is to derivatives, they have some of the
best resources for topos nowadays, and at least for the area involved
near La Paz those maps are usable.
Anyway, for a game we do not need anything strictly "real".
One of the excitements of doing many of the Inca Roads is
Hi Subbu,
Not off topic in my opinion.

at roadmaking, since the things have survived 500 years and some of the
worst damage is obviously very recent.
The best map I know is very copyright-ed and rather expensive (German).

Inca Quest would be awesome. Is there a good topological map of the Incan road?
