ACPI: thinkpad-acpi: do not use named sysfs groups
(the above git tree is based on 2.6.22-rc2).
The patch fixes a major bad design decision I made
The initial version of the thinkpad-acpi sysfs interface (not yet released
in any stable mainline kernel) made liberal use of named sysfs groups, in
order to get the attributes more organized.
This proved to be a really bad design decision. Maybe if attribute groups
were as flexible as a real dir
I have released version 0.14-20070524 of thinkpad-acpi through the
sourceforge.net release system.
It is available as patches against Linux 2.6.20.12 and 2.6.21.3 at:
