I case you haven't fixed this.. one possibility is that if you are using 2 byte link addresses ( ie
cascading) and your directors haven't been configured correctly you will get this status. Check your
insistent Domain ID setting and the fabric security policy.

the default Support Element logon passwords - Woo-Hoo!

BTW: the passwords are well known and have "always" been documented.
Default passwords for HMC are:
SERVMODE for user SERVICE
PASSWORD for other do
