Did the service rep verify that INFOSERVER was running on both clusters? If
so, did the service rep attempt a shutdown/restart of INFOSERVER? We
received this message sometime ago when we were attempting to
format/certify a mixed capacity loop. It was a strange error, eventually we
had to remov
since the boxes were dual-branded. If IBM will no longer
support them, StorageTek maybe your only option.
I too loved the virtual architecture of these boxes, however performance did
become an issue and the boxes had to be migrated out.

Yes, we have connectivity. We can ping and telnet to the host. Also, we can
FTP from other systems to the z/OS host. After the further discussions with
the client, it appears that they also made firewall changes the same weekend
as the z/OS install...:(

I am having what appears to be a TCP handshake issue. One of our clients
recently upgraded to z/OS 1.7. Since the upgrade, we have not been able to
establish a connection for FTP's from our mainframe (z/VM TCPIP level 430).
