Does the IBM 7720/7740 copy just the blocks that have changed or all the data for offsite backup? Have to transmit 9 TB compressed data nightly in 18 hours offsite to DR using a IBM 7720/7740 hybrid. Trying to estimate how long it would take on a 1 Gbps and a 10 Gbps pipe or OC-36 or OC-48.

Has anyone done this? Besides coding TTLS in the TCPCONFIG statement in the TCPIP PROFILE does anything else, like enabling encryption cards, need to be done? Also, is TLS downward compatible with older TN3270 emulators, like PROCOMM?
