Several of our data sets (GDGs) have mysteriously disappeared. If I am correct, doesn't SMF TYPE 60 records track data set deletion by userid? Does anyone know of a tool that can generate a report using those type SMF records? thanks, JEllis ---

Hi, I create daily tape DR backups. I want to sychronize the GDGs for disaster recovery so that I do not have to code different version numbers in the JCL when I recover DASD. How is the best way to accomplish this? Thanks, Judy Ellis

FIXCDS to delete records from mcds

ADDRESSABILITY and a REORG failed becuase it could not span volumes. I am assuming that the DATA CLASS default is EXTENDED ADDRESSABILITY. Can anyone verify that for me. I could not find anything in the manuals. regards, Judy Ellis

Prior to your response, I reran my assembly job, refreshed LLA, and issued the OBEYFILE pointing to my TCPPRFxx member, which contains USSTCP USSTABAM and refreshed LLA. The command was successfully completed but I am still unable to issue the CMD to access the monitors.
