For completeness, here's the response to my PMR: "-IBM -5751CS900 - 11/07/22-11:04- Hi John, Mount point for file systems can not be changed through install dialogs. Serverpac ships a pax archive of the file system that contains the directory structure ie. /usr/lpp/cicsts/cicsts42/ During the RESTORE job we substitute the first / in that structure with the install directory you specify. RESTORE needs to match those inbetween directories usr lpp cicsts cicsts42 to put them into the restored file system. Once RESTORE is done you can unmount the file system and mount it at different path. You will also need to change your DDDEF entries to point to new mount point accordingly." SO, "obviously" I mis-remembered having done so two years ago, when I last installed a ServerPac that included zFSes. But now I know why. :-) -jc- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@bama.ua.edu with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
