Define catalog with recatalog may work, depending on your release. Personally, I'm still not comfortable with any VSAM, regardless of the application, being cataloged in multiple catalogs. SSA (system-specific alias) works, but I never liked SSA - too much clutter in the catalogs. As Tom Marc
