I am new to easytrive, i have modified a module and added a new date control
card , it is giving the message *A010 INVALID FILE REFERENCE - DATEPARM. Can
anyone pls help me know what is the issue over here?

For a 1 record input, how about putting the GET DATEPARM in the START PROC?

Not really. I think we had to fiddle a bit to make DB2 DCLGENs work - some
had to be massaged a bit for EMU to accept them. But nothing serious

Morgan Stanley has used this tool with much success. All of our Easytrieve
programs were converted to COBOL. The source looks something like the old
compiler PMAP ugh. But they do work.

There is/was an IBM tool, which was suppose to replace Easytrieve. The IBM
product basically converts to the Easytrieve to Cobol, but without regards to
performance or maintainability. Our experience was not a good one.

The OS is 1.7, the EasyTrieve is 6.4. Both are recent upgrades
We are testing a new z9 processor under EZT R64 v0311. z/OS 1.4. EZT was
taking a bunch of OC4's. Had to apply CA APAR QO72665. This resolved the
problem. Just moving to a new processor without changing software levels
caused the problem. Hope this helps.

We just upgraded to a z9 on Sunday and started getting 0C4s. We quickly
moved Easytrieve 6.4 0311
into production (had been running ain development) and no more 0C4s.
