Can anyone tell me how to restore a multi-volume z/OS HFS using DSS and end up
with the restored HFS in 300 cylinder extents? DSS is so 'smart' that it
always deletes my pre-allocated HFS and tries to make 9000 cyl extents. Guess
what, I want to put the HFS on some MOD-3's instead of MOD-9's.
Could you show us both your DUMP and RESTORE control statements? We
routinely dump/restore multivolume HFS where the restored HFS is just
(barely) big enough to contain the data.
