For decades, I have recommended those wishing to establish a so-called bronzeplex, use a CONSTD definition like the one we use: CONSTD,DLOG=ON,SYN=(8,*),PLEXSYN=(HQ3A) There used to be (or so I thought) special logic in the JES3 command processor that recognized the asterisk system-scoped pref
