The problem is:
You have a REPLYTO that is NOT IBM-Main.
So, we are responding, expecting it to go to the list.
It does not go to the list!

It was an IBM-Main Post that I replied to.
And, this one would have gone to you, directly, if I hadn't caught it.
Please, fix your REPLYTO.

Ted,
As one of the authors of the Redbook 'Merging Systems into a Sysplex"
Lance, Yes, I am very interested in your advise on IGSNQXIT. My email
address is [EMAIL PROTECTED] Most of the systems will be zOS 1.6
and so I would also be interested in the GRS APAR.

Gil, This is the first stage in merging the 2 SYSPEXes. We would then
look to merging some control datasets, e.g. tape. In this step we just
want to achieve a single (Bronze) SYSPLEX for the price benefit.

Thanks for your reply. I assume you are using the supplied ISGNQXIT to
allow reserves for volumes shared outside the SYSPLEX. We actually plan to
share all DASD but the systems of the original 2 SYSPLEXes would continue
to use their original datasets. As far as couple datasets, that would be

George,
In my opinion, you should espire to share as much as possible.
Whenever using different data sets for each group of LPARs is a must, I
would use a new qualifier in the data set name to differenciate the 2 groups
(from the 2 previously seperate SYSPLEXes).
Even though you will be using dif
