Actually OA21934 only mentions PDSE_BUFFER_BEYOND_CLOSE(NO) but it
looks like it should also mention PDSE1_BUFFER_BEYOND_CLOSE(NO).

My understanding is that OA25618 is in a code path dealing with
non-linklist datasets and so only affects SMSPDSE1 while OA21934
could be any dataset.

On the question on HSP_SIZE (PDSE_HSP_SIZE), this relates to
caching PDSE member pages. The index pages would still be cached
so it looks like specifying PDSE_BUFFER_BEYOND_CLOSE(YES)
would still be valid
(or PDSE1_BUFFER_BEYOND_CLOSE(YES) with PDSE1_HSP_SIZE=0).

Looks like you need to discuss this with L2 PDSE support...
