Skip, my current employer believes in doing just that: applying to "live" system. they don't believe in cloning, nor indirect cataloging. coupled with that, we have a rather nonsupporting security team. there's plenty of landmines to be cleared ..

I don't know since which maintenance, could be OA09050, I have been unable to IPL until I reformat the IPL volume even though I initialized it with IPL TEXT. Does anyone has the same problem and how you solve it? We are at z/OS 1.4. You didn't indicate what happens to your IPL. Do you get a WA
