Can't answer that. But, we use it, as well as BLDL NOCONNECT, when
appropriate.
I see no mention of using STOW DISC for Classic PDS. Is it
a harmless no-op for those?

discussion here of clearing PDSes motivated me to read (but not 3
times) section 3.9.6.7 of "/OS V1R10 DFSMS Using Data Sets", where
I learned of STOW DISC (even supported for UNIX files).
